The medium bush Blueberry (V. angustifolium and V. corymbosum hybrids) from the Ericaceae family has similar cultivation requirements as the highbush Blueberry, i.e. it needs proper air and water correlations, and acidic soil rich in organic compounds. At the same time, it is considerably more tolerant to a higher pH and heavier soils. It is especially recommended to be grown in small home and allotment gardens and in containers. It also thrives on commercial plantations.
