Panicled phlox (Phlox paniculata), also known as garden phlox, is a variety of a perennial plant in the family Polemoniaceae. It is usually a rather high perennial plant (about 120cm high) with stiff stems, grown in the garden, but you can also find its smaller varieties. Blooms in the summer, displaying vivid and fragrant flowers gathered in sumptuous panicles on tops of slender green stems. Their fragrance lures a lot of insects including butterflies. Many panicled phlox varieties display flowers of different colour and boast different hight.
