Rhubarb, (Rheum L.) – belongs to the family of Polygonaceae, contains about 60 species. In Poland, considered to be a vegetable – develops characteristic large leaves with long and thick stems which become red, pinkish or green, boast sour and tart taste and are a source of many vitamins and mineral salts.
