- Bred in the USA, one of the varieties producing the tastiest raspberries.
- Grows vigorously up to 1.5-2.0 m high, needs supports.
- Bears fruit on biennial canes.
- Produces medium-sized to large fruits (1.5 cm long) which are dark red in colour, aromatic and juicy; valued because of its rich flavour; excellent for the fresh fruit market, also recommended for fruit processing.
- An early variety – bears fruits at the end of June and at the beginning of July; gives abundant crops every year.
- Requires hard pruning at the end of the season, leaving only 3 to 5 strongest canes, to improve its fruiting.
- Rather nor susceptible to diseases.
- Cold hardy down to -25 or -30°C.
