- Cultivar bred by dr. K.-H. Hübbers, a German horticulturist from Kranenburg. ‘Mitternacht’ and ‘Minuet’ hybrid, 1994, registered in 2007.
- A slow grower with a compact ball-shaped habit, up to 90 cm high in 10 years.
- Flower buds white, up to 250 in trusses. Displays white flowers with a dark, cinnamon brown ring in throat, a pink edging above the ovary. Blooms exceptionally profusely and regularly, starts flowering already as a young plant, often whole shrubs covered by flowers.
- Resistant to kalmia leafspot (Phyllosticta kalmicola – Mycosphaerella colorata) and Phytophthora blight (Phytophthora syringae).
- Totally cold hardy like all kalmias.
