- Bred by Dr. K.-H. Hübbers, a German grower from Kranenburg; registered in 2013; ‘Ginkona’ and ‘Snowdrift’ cross.
- In 10 years grows up to 90 cm high and 80 cm wide.
- Develops bush-like compact habit.
- Shows shiny green elliptical, lanceolate leaves.
- Displays pale pink or white flowers in buds which become white when ageing, adorned with dark red blotched and dotted rings in throats, held in as many as 170 in a truss; its flowers are 5-6 petal and flat.
- Totally cold hardy as all kalmias.
