- Cultivar bred by dr. K.-H. Hübbers, from Kranenburg. It is a cross ‘Nancy’ with a pink seedling, 1999, registered in 2008.
- Boasts big leaves up to 10 cm in length, matt, thick and dark green in colour.
- Young stems red, flower buds intense pink in colour, up to 70 in trusses. Flowers broadly-flared and flattened, their petals bent back, display strong red pink colouring, slightly lighter in throats, flecked with dark red on the anther pouches, above the ovary a distinct red edging.
- Undemanding and will tolerate poor soil.
- Totally cold hardy as all kalmias.
