- A red gooseberry cultivar bred in Finland.
- Develops a ball-shaped, flattened on top, compact bushy habit; grows up to 90-120 cm high, good for mechanical harvesting; 1.2-1.5 m spacings between plants in a row recommended.
- Bears medium-sized to large berries which are red in hue with a juicy pulp, sweet and tart, extremely nice; its skin is red, adorned with stripes and covered with hairs; at first its berries are green and with time become lightly red; gives abundant crops, good for growing in rows, recommended mainly for producing berries for the fresh-fruit market but they are also good for preserves and deep freezing.
- Ripens early in the first half of July.
- Gives good crops in Polish climatic conditions.
- Resistant to powdery mildew, does considerably well in adverse weather conditions.
